Red Eyed Racing, Proudly Welcomes Ed, "The Family Guy" Mahr to the team!
Ed is racing a 2002 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider. Affectionately known as the "Paloma Express". This bike is named after the owner, "Plug 1%er" a.k.a. Greg Garcia's late beloved dog. Paloma was ever present and instrumental in getting this beast alive. Keeping the builder, Dave at Southside Cycles and team motivated with her high spirits during the build. She is dearly missed.
We would also like to welcome and "Thank" Ed's wife Kelly and two children for being so Supportive! As we are racing the AMRA circuit we travel a lot.
As for the Family Guy, himself. He is one hell of a diesel mechanic and engine dyno guy for Caterpillar. He has a background in stock car racing, but a passion for motorcycle drag racing. He is running the Paloma Express in ET and Street Eliminator classes and doing great. On July 13, 2024, Ed claimed his 1st Victory. Way to go!
